Scientist, TEM | EAG Laboratories

We have a great opportunity for a skilled Scientist to join our dynamic TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) group.  The TEM Scientist will be responsible for:Partnering with team members to provide high quality analysis service to clients. Operating TEM tools to obtain TEM/STEM images, SAED, EDS and EELS data from samples.Developing TEM analysis protocols/techniques to meet clients’ requests.Creating summary reports to capture the project objectives, analysis data and interpretation of the results.Supporting Data Science work related to imaging processing jobs.A typical day would involve-Operating the TEM tools (FEI or JEOL electron microscopes) and collecting TEM/STEM images based on customers' requestsPerforming elemental analysis such as EDS/EELS (collecting/process the data and creating the reports)Engaging in discussions with the customers to solve their questions and concernsWork Schedule: 5pm-2am, Tuesdays to Saturdays
